Boiler Model (Fire Tube / Water Tube)

Steam Generator Test Rig

High-pressure vertical steam generator designed for thermal efficiency analysis. Equipped with instruments to measure fuel consumption, water evaporated, and steam quality. Enables students to calculate heat balance and thermal performance.

Steam Turbine Test Rig (Impulse / Reaction)

Advanced rig for studying impulse and reaction turbine characteristics. Includes dynamometer for power measurement and sensors for inlet/exhaust parameters. Designed for performance mapping and efficiency curves in thermodynamics labs.

Steam Condenser Apparatus

Bench-top unit for studying heat transfer in surface condensers. Measures cooling water flow, temperature rise, and condensate mass. Facilitates calculation of overall heat transfer coefficient and efficiency under varying loads.

Steam Calorimeter (Separating & Throttling)

Combined unit to accurately determine the dryness fraction of steam. Features separating calorimeter for heavy moisture and throttling for final quality analysis. Essential for understanding steam properties in power cycles.

Steam Nozzle Test Rig

Rig for studying critical flow and pressure distribution in convergent-divergent nozzles. Includes multiple nozzle profiles and axial pressure probes. Helps students visualize shock waves and velocity changes in high-speed steam.

Rankine Cycle Demonstration Unit

Compact system representing a full steam power plant cycle. Integrates boiler, turbine, condenser, and feed pump. Provides hands-on experience in cyclic heat-to-work conversion and efficiency improvements.

Boiler Mountings & Accessories Panel

Large scale display of safety valves, water level indicators, and fusible plugs. All components are cutaway to show internal mechanisms. Designed for safety training and maintenance education in marine and mechanical labs.

Feed Water Pump & Injector Test Rig

Specialized rig to evaluate the performance of steam-driven injectors and feed pumps. Measures suction head, discharge pressure, and volumetric efficiency. Focuses on fluid dynamics and auxiliary steam system operation.

Steam Trap Demonstration Unit

Visual equipment showing operation of bucket, thermostatic, and thermodynamic steam traps. Features glass windows to observe condensate discharge and steam locking. Teaches critical energy conservation in steam lines.

Pressure Reducing & Desuperheating Station Model
